Mike & Jan Bertenshaw offer you a warm welcome to Crafnant Guest House - formerly a Victorian farmhouse situated in the centre of this peaceful village, which takes its name from one of the beautiful lakes which nestle in the wooded valleys just above.

Whilst there are unlimited areas of scenic beauty to be explored, and numerous activities to be enjoyed, many visitors find plenty of time to simply wind down and relax. We endeavour to provide an informal and relaxing atmosphere where you can fully appreciate the picturesque setting of Trefriw and its surrounding countryside.
There are a number of places in and around the village which serve excellent food including two traditional village pubs only a stroll away.
The Guest House is appointed to a high standard and retains many of its original features, charm and elegance.

Most bedrooms are fully en-suite and are appointed with your comfort in mind. All have:

Top floor lounge

A further larger lounge on the first floor where guests can relax in comfort and enjoy a board game or puzzle.

A full traditional breakfast at Crafnant may mean you have no room for lunch!

In May 2008 we won a sustainable tourism award - and with our prize money we have bought some hens - which are being looked after by our friend Sue who has a small holding in the hills above Trefriw. We can therefore boast extremely fresh free range eggs - to compliment the excellent bacon and home made sausages from our local butcher.

There are two lounges - a small lounge on the ground floor which houses a varied collection of books to suit most interests
